Mountain View senior Alissa Fielding became one of 16 girls in state history to break 18 minutes on the 3-mile course at Sugarhouse Park, clocking 17:54.3 to win the 4A title at the Utah UHSAA Cross Country State Championships. Fielding improved from 18:28 last year to help Mountain View place second behind Pine View by a 60-69 margin.
